A queer love story set during a meat-based apocalypse is touring England this summer

All of Them, Dead follows two gay boys falling for each other as infected meat falls from the sky. It tours eight venues across the south and south east from 19 June to 25 July.

Harry and Corey meet outside an abandoned burger shop during the apocalypse. The country is collapsing around them. Meat is falling from the sky. They hold hands anyway.

All of Them, Dead is a new play by queer duo everybody panic, written and co-directed by Thom Munden alongside co-director Krage Brown. It is about being young, gay and working-class in the middle of nowhere. About the things that go unsaid between two people who need each other more than they know how to say. And about a fictional pandemic caused by infected meat, which is, as the press release acknowledges, a real thing in this play.

Described by audiences as having the energy of Heartstopper crossed with Zombieland, the show has been developed with support from Arts Council England and produced in partnership with Oxford Playhouse, Pegasus Theatre, The Mill Arts Centre, Prime Theatre and TORCH. It had its first outing at Oxford Playhouse's Queer Fest in 2024 under its original title Wisbech Meat Shower, which is an extraordinary name, and has been developed significantly since then.

Everybody panic's mission is to centre queer and working-class voices by placing them in narratives that have traditionally excluded them. All of Them, Dead does exactly that, using the end of the world as a backdrop for the kind of quiet, tender, funny love story that rarely gets told on the regional touring circuit.

The tour runs across eight venues.

Pegasus Theatre, Oxford on 19 June.

Chats Palace, London on 25 and 26 June.

Front Room, Weston-super-Mare on 27 June.

The Garage, Norwich on 4 July.

The Mill, Banbury on 9 July.

The Place, Bedford on 11 July.

Cheltenham Everyman on 18 July.

Angles Theatre, Wisbech on 25 July.
