Jinkx Monsoon in End of the Rainbow at Soho Theatre Walthamstow
A new production of Peter Quilter’s End of the Rainbow is coming to Soho Theatre Walthamstow from Fri 15 May to Sun 21 Jun 26. Jinkx Monsoon takes on the role of Judy Garland in a story set in London in 1968 during the final series of concerts at the Talk of the Town.
The show brings the audience into Garland’s tense preparation room where the stage lights wait outside and pressure builds inside. This version is directed by Rupert Hands and marks a fresh return for a play known for its mix of music, conflict, and personal struggle.
Jinkx Monsoon continues a fast rise on stage and screen after recent work on Broadway, off Broadway, and television. Her past roles include standout turns in Oh, Mary, Chicago, Little Shop of Horrors, and Pirates. She has also appeared in Doctor Who and toured globally with original shows and concerts.
