A bold celebration of identity, emerging talent, and human connection in the heart of London.
London Fashion Day: Edition 5
by Liudmyla Baganova
The fifth edition of London Fashion Day took place on 26 April 2025 inside the historic St John's Church in Hyde Park. This architectural space became more than a venue. It became a vessel for emotion, individuality, and storytelling. Under the theme HUMAN, designers were invited to explore what it means to be seen, to belong, and to speak through clothing.
The designer lineup featured: Lenie Boya, HOME NEST & MALUSHA Bag Design Studio, LCCA Showcase (London College of Contemporary Arts), Panache by Elvira, Zines (Fashion Paris Academy), Gorsset, KEKA by Novikov, ELEN OST, KochHouse, OHES by Monika Wloch, MOODI Studio, Ana Ciumac (Fashion Paris Academy), and SEMENENKO

What once echoed with choir music now pulsed with bold silhouettes, reworked traditions, and voices that demanded to be heard.
From the first model to the final bow, this event wasn't about perfection. It was about presence.
This edition moved beyond the traditional fashion week format. With an open space concept and rotating runway showcases, the audience stayed in motion, physically and emotionally.

Each hour brought a new shift in mood and form
• From Lenie Boya’s fluid shapes and HOME NEST’s textural calm
• To the London College of Contemporary Arts’ raw rebellion
• To Gorsset’s precision, elegance, and sharp edges
MOODI Studio delivered a standout moment with a collection that transformed quiet resistance into visual language. Every stitch felt like a whisper turned statement. Monika Wloch’s OHES followed with softness and warmth, a graceful balance of confidence and care.
Zineb Sadat, representing Fashion Academy Paris alongside Ana Ciumac, offered a powerful reflection on heritage. Her collection merged Algerian traditional garments with sculptural draping. Each piece honoured the craftswomen of her childhood, bringing emotional clarity through historical form.
Ana Ciumac’s own collection explored movement and femininity using French Haute Couture techniques. With architectural folds, fluid silhouettes, and expressive details, her garments reflected inner strength and sensuality without excess.
The campaign, produced by founder Kostiantyn Leontiev, directed by Dinara Ostr, and photographed by Nicolo Urbani, was led by the Ukrainian brand KEKA. Model Zain Shan embodied the concept. The visuals focused on stillness and movement, merging identity with emotion through minimalism and symbolism.
The platform’s purpose came through clearly. This was not just a show. It was a movement.
London Fashion Day, since its inception, has worked to uplift underrepresented designers, particularly queer, immigrant, and independent voices. It partners with fashion institutions such as Fashion Academy Paris and London College of Contemporary Arts, and continues to act as a launchpad for emerging talent.
Designers like SEMENENKO redefined modern luxury with emotional depth. KOCHHOUSE proved that sustainable practices can live inside sharp, forward-facing designs.
Between shows, guests browsed collections up close in the Designer Corner and exchanged ideas in the Networking Lounge. It felt like a community, not a crowd.
One guest put it best: “It felt like a dialogue, not a monologue.”
With strong support from creative and business partners including Wellingtons Solicitors Ltd, WOLAX Interiors, Trade Mark Wizards Ltd, Laura TIMM, UWILL GLOBAL, GO Men’s Club, PAYAVA, Ukrainian Trend Store, AK Consult, Lotus Realm, London Dental House, London College of Contemporary Arts, Fashion Academy Paris, AOFMPro, The Fellowship, Creative Industry Awards, OFN One Fluid Night, Global Fashion Net, Fashion Globus Ukraine, Global Business Net, and Show Empire, the fifth edition proved its reach and intention.
The event was amplified by media partners including FASHION, FAB UK Magazine, GLAM Week Magazine, London One Magazine, London Business Journal, WORLD WOMAN Magazine, FOSTYLEN, Cool’baba Magazine, PLATFORM, ML Business Magazine, Prominent Magazine, FLICKER Magazine, Studio of My Dreams, BOSS Magazine, 100% NEWS, hani5am, GWARNIN, and Racing Fashion.
London Fashion Day will return. Until then, stay human.
