Zolita announces her new album Hell's Belles and a North American headline tour
The queer pop singer-songwriter and filmmaker releases Hell's Belles on 28 August, alongside new single HARDCORE. The tour runs from 23 September to 14 October across 14 North American dates.
Zolita has announced her forthcoming album Hell's Belles, arriving 28 August. The record splits itself in two, balancing the romantic warmth of its BELLES side against the dark, hedonistic pull of HELL. "I am Hell, and I am Belle," she said.

Two singles have arrived ahead of the album. Hell's Belles, the title track and lead single, is a sapphic reimagining of bro-country, describing a detective sent undercover to infiltrate a secluded lesbian cult in the deep south who falls for the cult's magnetic leader. The music video, shot in southern gothic style with mockumentary confessionals and cleansing rituals, pulls it fully into camp horror territory. HARDCORE, the second single, goes in the opposite direction: blistering electro-pop that marks the moment, as Zolita puts it, when Belle transforms into her more hedonistic alter ego.
The Hell's Belles Tour kicks off 23 September in Philadelphia and makes stops in New York, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, Seattle and more before concluding with a hometown show in Los Angeles on 14 October.
Zolita has spent the past decade carving out a distinctive space in independent pop. From early releases Immaculate Conception and Sappho through to Evil Angel and 2024's Queen of Hearts, she has consistently combined personal songwriting with cinematic visual storytelling, maintaining complete creative control and centring queer narratives throughout. She trained at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, works with an almost entirely queer crew, and has sold out Bowery Ballroom and The Troubadour. Hell's Belles looks like the biggest statement yet.
Hell's Belles is out 28 August. Tickets for the tour at zolita.com.
