Linus Karp's queer celebration of Ar Di has toured the world since Edinburgh Fringe. It comes to Arcola for one week only from 6 to 11 July. It is already sold out but returns may be available.
Diana: The Untold and Untrue Story invites you to join Diana in heaven as she shares the untold and untrue tale of her extraordinary life. Written and performed by Linus Karp, co-directed with Joseph Martin, the show has toured internationally since its Edinburgh Fringe debut and accumulated reviews including Broadway Baby calling it the most unhinged piece of theatre in existence, Attitude describing it as absurd, camp, chaotic and hilarious, and the Daily Mail calling it repellent trash. The repellent trash quote is displayed with some pride.
The show combines drag, multimedia, audience interaction, puppetry and a lot of queer joy. Karp plays Diana. Joseph Martin plays Charles, Camilla and others. The digital cast includes Geri Allen as the Queen, Zina Badran as God, Rob Madge as Mother Teresa and Jeanna de Waal in a special appearance.
Linus Karp is a Swedish-born performer based in London whose work with Awkward Prods, the company behind Diana, also includes Gwyneth Goes Skiing and The Fit Prince. The show has played New York, Edinburgh and internationally before landing at Arcola.
Diana: The Untold and Untrue Story runs at Arcola Theatre Studio 1 from 6 to 11 July 2026.
Tickets are limited. Book at arcolatheatre.com.
